“I feel like I found the key to the magic door!”

Here is an overview of my conversation with Transformation Goddess, Brigit Esselmont.

I recommend you carve out 30 minutes to listen to our intimate conversation and receive the full energetic connection of our transformational time together.

I know you will enjoy Brigit’s gorgeous energy!

Please share a life-altering transition and transformation you’ve recently experienced in your life.

I left my 6-figure corporate job in 2012 to become a Tarot reader. Everyone thought I was crazy, but I knew deep down I was about to step into something amazing. And I did.

By following my heart and blending my talents of Tarot and online business, I created a business – and a lifestyle – that serves me, my family and my online community on such a deep level.

Financially, I now make almost 5 times as much money as I did in my corporate life. But more importantly, I am leading a more authentic and magical life.

What are some of your favorite sacred feminine rituals?

Every month, I go to a small and intimate women’s circle. It’s like coming ‘home’. We express our femininity through meditation, sharing, connecting, dancing, and hugging. It’s hard to put into words the power of this group, but it is 100% replenishing and nurturing for my soul.

And at the start of each work week, I draw a card from the Kuan Yin Oracle deck by Alana Fairchild and meditate with its core message. This practice is what steers me throughout the week and keeps me grounded.

How do you relate to your body, sexuality and power?

As I focus on my work and family life, oftentimes, body, sexuality and feminine power take a backseat. Nonetheless, I do make time to honour myself through women’s circles, tigress yoga (a type of ‘feminine embodiment’ yoga) and sacred ritual (see below).

How else do you embody being a sovereign goddess?

As a Tarot professional, it’s natural that I use Tarot cards in my personal practice. Rather than simply doing a reading and seeing what the cards say, I first tune in to my intuition and into Source to see what my heart says. Then, I use the Tarot cards to add new insights or to unveil the shadows which I may not be aware of.

It’s an incredibly powerful practice and helps me to connect with my inner Goddess.

What Comes up for Your When you Hear the Words Walk In beauty?

I can’t help but feel intense confidence, abundance, and energy, radiating outwards from within. I see a woman shining and almost bursting with energy and she walks forward, fully in her power.

What was your Inspiration for creating 5 Simple Steps to Reading Tarot?

I personally struggled to learn to read Tarot with confidence. I knew it was a powerful tool for spiritual development, but I kept getting stuck with memorising the cards or worrying about whether I was doing it all wrong. It’s clearly not how to read Tarot!

My breakthrough moment was when I finally put the books down and learned how to read Tarot from the heart. I created a personal and intuitive connection with the Tarot cards. My readings improved, I felt ‘in the flow’ and most importantly, my clients were thrilled with the insights I was able to share with them.

So I created the 5 Simple Steps to Read Tarot with Confidence to help aspiring Tarot readers avoid the mistakes I made and instead create an intuitive connection with the Tarot. I wanted to make learning Tarot easy and fun.

Thank you for the inspiration! I left my traditional job just over a year ago and work with empathic helpers and artists connecting them to their Spirit and that of the Divine. One aspect of my business is angel card readings. I too learned to put the books down and read from my intuition and heart as you have. Wonderful to meet you Brigit and thanks Shann for sharing. xx

    • Brigit May 22, 2015, 9:03 pm

Beautiful! So glad you had the courage to leave your ‘day job’ and pursue your calling.

  • Theresa May 20, 2015, 7:51 am

Thanks for bringing Tarot into the light. Many view it as a “dark practice”, but hopefully that’s changing! I, too, use the cards as a supplement to intuitive messages I receive.

    • Brigit May 22, 2015, 9:04 pm

I would LOVE to see the general perception of Tarot change. Little by little, we will get there!!
