Transformation Goddess Interviews Author Kellie Stone.

What was your inspiration for writing The Butterfly Payoff?

My inspiration for the book was realizing that butterflies are exactly what they are meant to be, no more and no less, and they go through this amazing transformation naturally. Though, it isn’t an attractive or easy one by any means, the end result is nothing less than miraculous. And, in their quest for food, water, and a mate, they define their purpose, which is to pollinate beautiful flowers in the field, allowing them to continue on. Butterflies fulfill their purpose and live a life with everything they need. I am inspired by the similarities that we have with these creatures if we give ourselves a chance to organically go through change, pain, and growth. If we allow our journeys to be the process that defines our dreams and purpose, our payoff shows up. It’s when we consider adversity to be a curse or some sort of test of the gods, that we fumble the one thing that should be as natural as the butterfly’s transformation.

What do you love most about birthing your book to the world?

The feeling of giving a piece of myself to the world in this way was a confirmation of my purpose and a fulfillment of a big dream, creating the proof that if you don’t give up, dreams do come true
.

What lessons will women come away with after reading your book?

The biggest lesson or message in the book is that we all hold our purpose within ourselves and we are responsible for defining it and walking it out. The interconnection between purpose and dreams becomes increasingly apparent throughout the book. Yes, dream-fulfillment is work, but it is worth every minute when the focus is on truth and authenticity. I really want women to walk away with hope and a renewed faith in themselves so they can approach their passions and purpose with confidence that they are exactly where they are supposed to be.

What is your heart message and how does it help women?

Though there are so many facets to my heart-centered message, in a nutshell, I give women permission to feel good about themselves, to help them elevate their weaknesses. They are able to take a new picture and look at their life, one that shows them it’s OK not to be OK all the time.

Tell me about the kind of woman you serve?

Well, basically, she is an over-accommodating perfectionist who never quite feels good enough. She gives, serves and fights for this perfection but, in the process, denies her truth and authentic self. She is left wondering how to feel good when life feels like it is crumbling around her.

How are you uniquely qualified to teach and serve women?

I wish the answer was as easy as saying a degree, certification, or skill, but it’s not. What qualifies me is my experience….all of it. The victories, tragedies, illnesses, heartbreaks, financial crises, divorce, depression; these things and the fact that I’m still here walking the walk is my training ground. My life created me and I created it. I’m still moving forward. I never give up on myself and completely understand that my circumstances are not me.

What is the most difficult obstacle you’ve experienced and overcome?

I would have to say the most difficult circumstance was one that lasted for 13 years. I lived with Chronic Migraine Disease, depression, and the accompanying physical limitations. Though these years prompted the most intense growth season for me, they were tough in many ways. I felt like I had lost my life sometimes, even wanted to jump ship. Chronic illness can be one of the most life-changing events anyone can experience. Even after being migraine free for almost 3 years now, my heart feels for all who suffer with this affliction. But, there is always hope and healing. I am living proof of that.

Now that you’ve birthed your book, what are you focusing on?

There are so many ideas and projects in my mind right now, but I’m primarily working on launching The Butterfly Payoff brand which is my transformational empire. I’m giggling saying that because it seems so huge to call it an empire, but I believe in dreaming big!

In particular, I’m working on a series of courses that peel back the layers of topics from the book and help women to work on and transform in those areas over a 30-day period. The first course, “Living and Loving the Real YOU!” I am also launching a private Facebook membership group called The Butterfly Payoff Secret Society which includes daily contact with me and our group members, teaching spreecasts, and laser coaching. A perfect place to build lasting, strong relationships with like-minded women who support growth and becoming as authentic as possible. Both of these offerings will be available on March 1st.  Readers are welcome to connect with me on The Butterfly Payoff Facebook page for more details.

Kellie, the butterfly analogy is perfect! What I love most about your message is the hope and inspiration you share with women, and the concept that their present circumstances do not define them. The sky is the limit if only they believe in themselves!

Kellie’s books carries a powerful message: “that we all hold our purpose within ourselves” and it’s up to each of us to knoe that purpose and to live it as fully as possible.” How wonderful that it was the butterfly — symbol of transformation, beauty and freedom — that led to this book.
