image If you want to be inspired by the unfolding adventure of a Rebel Priestess, read this book! Seeing Red: A Woman’s Quest for Truth, Power and the Sacred is a smart and authentic memoir, paving the way for all women to unearth the Goddess within.  I introduced you to beautiful Lone a couple weeks ago as our featured Goddess in our Divine Feminine Spotlight interview. Today I invite you to learn more about her personal memoir, Seeing Red.
Seeing Red is an astounding journey that traces one woman’s search for personal truth and power. Set against the backdrop of the holy Mount Kailas in Tibet, her marriage in California, and Kali’s temples in Nepal, it takes the reader on an unforgettable journey of creation and dissolution that is as enlightening as it is heart-wrenching.
This is the story of Denmark native Lone Mørch’s transformation–a story of love and passion, and also a story of self-betrayal. This is every woman’s story because it’s a dispassionate tale of one woman who knowingly gives up on herself, and who has to fight tooth and nail to reclaim herself. In the end, the efforts are worth it, but she has to strip herself bare, lose everything she’s held dear, and strip away everything she’s ever built in order to see the truth.

I invite you to get to know more about the author and her new book  by listening to our  Divine Feminine Spotlight Interview, and watching the Seeing Red Trailer below.

Dear Lone: Your message in the video deeply resonated with what I am facing right now, deep inside of me. You see, I know I would love to welcome and honor my glorious, receptive feminine essence but for some reason, every time I need to trust her, my “man” puts her away, and I am completely devastated. The journey to seek and make my inner feminine goddess come alive in my life is one in which I encounter lots of blocks and rocks, twists and turns, and a lot of risk losing the appreciation of the ones I care most. In the process, I must confess I even feel afraid of losing the appreciation of “the one” I truly care most, a dear friend of mine who, for some reason, has moved from being enthusiastic at interacting with me to staying in the shadows…But there is no turning back. I must keep on evolving and being open to “hear” my feminine Queen and allow her be in command. Thank you for being a reflection of what life is offering for me today. All the best, Mónica

Thanks Shann, for this lovely intro of Seeing Red to your community and thanks for sharing your immediate resonance Monica. Transitions are such a rugged terrain right? And so true, once we’ve heard the call, tasted a bit of the sweetness of inner freedom and sovereignty, we cannot turn back, even if we resist. Ha! the inner patriarch does indeed like to “keep us in place” – could you elevate your inner male lover and ask him for support in honoring your feminine? Sometimes we transform at the cost of those close to us who cannot follow us. I always like to hold the biggest, most spacious vision for our human relationships, so that rather than ‘ending them’ we can let them evolve alongside. As I say, I put on my bravest, biggest most compassionate shoes when I know I cannot control what happens, but I can allow space for what wants to happen. Blessings for your lush and deep journey. Love, Lone

Thank you for the recommendation, Shann, this is one book I definitely have to get! It sounds indeed like every woman’s story. I never thought I would end up saying this when I was in my 20s but I did give up on myself at one point and I had to reclaim myself at great cost… in fact I’m still in the process but I’m really, truly getting there. This sounds like such an inspirational book <3
    Much love and blessings!
